Best Supermarkets for Clothes

Do you ever feel like there is just never quite enough time in the week to get everything done? Between making sure that everyone gets to the right place at the right time, that the next meal is on its way and picking up the pieces of toddler meltdowns your needs often coming way, way down the list of priorities. Clothes shopping is one of those things that I rarely get around to.

Things usefully come to a head when I realise that every top I own is either marked with some mysterious substance that withstands all types of stain remover, has taken on a shade known as muddy grey and/or has completely lost its elastic/buttons/sleeves.

Multitasking is one of my most used skills, and I am not ashamed to admit that I get a certain amount of satisfaction from maximising my time with a successful multi tasking or the old knocking off two birds with one stone. Considering I spend a fair bit of time traipsing up and down the aisles of supermarkets to feed the family why not take advantage of the clothes that they have on offer too. Heading to the clothes area before the frozen section is obviously a given, but I genuinely did find it more practical to make the clothes area the first stop on any shopping expeditions; Your energy levels are at their highest and you are not yet in that desperate, just throw it into the shopping trolley stage that can end in something that fits you about as well a potato sack or something completely unpractical (sequinned tops, while pretty and sparkly, are not the easiest things to wash baby puke out of).

My favourite supermarket spot for picking up things to put on my body as opposed to in it has to be Tesco. Their F&F range, or Florence & Fred as it first started out, is hands down the winner in my book. I’ve been buying clothes from them for a couple of years now so I have their size guide down to a tee, so when I am really in a rush, or just need some staples I can feel confident about getting a piece of clothing without having to try it on. So much so, that I have started buying clothes through their website because I trust what I’m getting that making me even happier are these ways to save a little more when shopping online that I have found.

I love, LOVE, the bold patterns that they use in many of their outfits, and currently, have my eye on a black and white striped wrap top that channels Mary Quant. I also appreciate their excellent Basic Essentials range that is my go-to for when I need a simple top, cami or pair of leggings. They also have me convert when it comes to getting items for the kids and the hubby, again their sizing is pretty consistent so I can pick up items for the family even if they are not there.
